With Suzanne Collins’ trilogy of Hunger Games books wrapped up in a slightly underwhelming bow with the recently released The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, we’d have been forgiven for thinking we’ve seen the end of the well-loved young adult series on the big screen.

So, The Mummy franchise is getting a reboot and it appears to have found its leading lady to play the movies titular monster: Kingsman: The Secret Service’s Sofia Boutella.
The Amazing Spider-man 2 scribe Alex Kurtzman is attached to direct, while Tom Cruise is reportedly in talks for the male lead.
The Mummy reboot is expected March 2017.
