News: Gods of Egypt, Gremlins 3 & J-Laws
Controversy alert! So Alex Proyas’s upcoming film, Gods of Egypt – similar to last year’s Ridley Scott directed Exodus: Kings and Kings – has been accused of white-washing.
Starring Gerard Butler and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the backlash surrounding casting for the flick occurred a couple of weeks ago when its first trailer was released.
Refreshingly (and somewhat surprisingly), Proyas and Lionsgate have both released statements apologising for Gods of Egypt’s lack of diversity.
Want to see what the fuss is about? The movie will be released 26th February 2016.

It’s been 25 years since we last saw Gizmo and co. on our big screens, but according to the film’s star Zach Galligan another Gremlin’s outing is on its way.
Apparently neither a reboot or remake, Galligan, despite not knowing whether he will be in it himself, says this’ll be an actual sequel to 1990’s Gremlins: The New Batch.

J-Laws is Hollywood’s hottest young actress right now, but could she soon become a high flying director, too?
The Oscar winning actress looks set to helm her first feature film, Project Delirium, based on a 2012 article published in The New Yorker about 60s mental warfare.
No news on production schedules or a release date as of yet – but you can catch Jennifer in the final instalment of The Hunger Games, Mockingjay: Part 2, right now.
