News: Prometheus 2, Colin Farrell, The Hobbit & A Nightmare on Elm Street

Ridley Scott’s Prometheus may have split critics and fans alike, but it made a bomb at the global box office. Rumour has it Scott – along with stars Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace – will start shooting a Prometheus sequel at the start of 2016. Watch this space. (Source: Guardian)

The Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has added another big name to its ever increasing cast. Colin Farrell joins Eddie Redmayne and Katherine Waterson for the J.K. Rowling written flick that is set to hit cinemas next year. (Source: Evening Standard)

Another A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot is happening just five years after Samuel Bayer’s critically panned effort. No news on cast, crew or a release date as of yet, but it appears New Line Cinema are keen to get Freddy back on our screens in the not-too-distant future. (Source: Yahoo)
